Refunds and cancellation

How cancellation and refunds work across our products, and the rights you have in any case.

Last updated 29 September 2026

The short version. For each product, its own terms and the seller shown when you pay decide how cancellation and refunds work. Whatever they say, you keep your legal rights as a consumer, including the right to cancel described below. If you are not sure who to ask, write to support@simak.ai and we will point you to the right place or handle it ourselves.

Who handles your refund

It depends on who sold the product to you. The seller is shown before you pay and on your receipt (see our general terms).

  • An app store, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store: refunds follow the store's own refund policy and are requested from the store.
  • An authorised reseller acting as merchant of record: the reseller processes refunds under its terms. You can contact it using the details on your receipt, or ask us and we will review your request and arrange it with the reseller.
  • SIMAK LABS LTD directly: the product terms, or your signed agreement, apply, and you ask us.

A product's own terms say what refunds it offers beyond the law, if any.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a subscription in the way its product terms describe, usually in your account or in the store's subscription settings. Unless the product terms say otherwise, cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Your right to cancel within 14 days

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 generally give you 14 days to cancel a contract made online, starting the day after the contract is made.

  • A service, such as a subscription. If you ask for it to start within the 14 days, you can still cancel, but you may have to pay for what you received before you cancelled.
  • Digital content not supplied on a physical medium. The right to cancel ends once supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you would lose it.

Consumers in the European Union have equivalent rights under the law of their country, and the law may give further rights for subscriptions. If a product's terms or its seller offer more than the law, the more generous terms apply.

To cancel under this right, tell the seller of record or us clearly within the period, for example by email to support@simak.ai.

If a product is faulty

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and a service must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If a product falls short, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement, to have the service performed again, or, in some cases, to a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in this policy or in any product terms takes these rights away.

How to ask

Write to support@simak.ai from the email address you used to buy, and include:

  • the product and the plan;
  • the date of purchase;
  • the receipt or order number, if you have it;
  • what you would like us to do.

We will reply to confirm who handles the request and what happens next. An approved refund goes back to the original payment method; how long it takes to arrive depends on the seller of record and your bank.

Business customers

The consumer rights above do not apply to purchases made for business purposes. Refunds for those are governed by the product terms, or by the written agreement with you.
